A: The minimum age for joining the league is 21 due to the alcohol that is provided by the league and inclusive in your league fee. There is no maximum age, but historically the league attracts mostly young working professionals between the ages of 21 & 41.
A: Of course you can still join! We assign enough league members on each team every week to compensate for the several absences we expect each week.
A: No problem! All our leagues are social, recreational, and relaxed. The "pure social" structure lends itself to create this environment where socializing, rather than winning, is paramount! Anyone who creates a negative or harassing environment for any member will be warned and then removed from the league.
A: Please click the "Register" link for the page to join our leagues.
A: We will send you an email approximately two weeks before the season starts informing you of the final league details. The league schedule, rules, and team information will be posted on the website well before the league begins. If you have not been contacted within 5 business days of the league starting date, please contact VASL at vasleague@yahoo.com (or call) and we will straighten everything out! As soon as your a member, you are family, contact us if you have any questions, get lost going to the fields, or even need your dog walked...yes we even have walked our members dogs before (not officially included)!

A: We almost always have the scores and statistics updated within 48 hours.
A: This varies by type of sport. Please see the individual page for that sport under "register for league" tab or click here.
A: Due to the social nature of our league, your win % doesn't always dictate whether you win a trophy, your level of participation and attendance will! Besides our typical league team and individual champions & MVP's for highest run totals and win % etc., we have fun plaques, trophies, and awards given out like Cy Young Award (most willing/best pitchers), Golden Squat Award (most willing to catch), Ironman Award (most consistent attendance) etc.
A: All refunds are at the discretion of the league. The league is not required to give any refunds within two weeks of the starting date of the league or after 24 hours after the initial payment. All refunds are charged a service fee. All leagues are considered full and operational with 4 or more teams.  
A: The league t-shirts that are included in your fee are not required on the playing field, but we love to see you guys getting some use out of them! There are advantages to having the team with the most of amount of league shirts. Additionally, your league t-shirts can land you some pretty nice happy hour specials at our select partners bars.
A: Games will be cancelled if lightning is in the area and/or field conditions are unplayable due to water on the fields. In the event of these dangerous conditions, cancellations will be posted on our website's homepage at the bottom right near the current weather conditions information. All games that are cancelled will be rescheduled (depending on field availability)
A: Yes, there are always people who for one reason or another have to drop out at some point after the leagues are sold out. To be placed on the waitlist, please email us at vasleague@yahoo.com with the subject header "Waiting List." You should also receive a confirmation email. We will contact you if/when a spot opens up.
A: We only have one division for all our sports and that is our pure social format recreational leagues that provide the best possible social experience for both competitively skilled and casual players
